A spaceman far from home
« on: June 28, 2020, 08:17:20 AM »
Some time ago, Dr Mathias posted up a lovely take on the old Rogue Trader Ship's Officer http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=102436.195. I mentioned on his blog that it was the Rogue Trader figure I most regretted getting rid of years ago.

Matt mentioned he had a third(!) copy of the figure lying around, and he'd be happy to post it to me. So the Ship's Officer began an epic journey from Kansas to Queensland. Thanks heaps Matt, very generous. He doesn't look quite as flash as he would if he'd stayed at home and benefited from your brush, but I sure hope he'll have some grand adventures!

I think you did quite well.  I particularly like the muted colour pallet.

He looks great, really cool color scheme!

Fun to paint these old figures. I couldn't begin to count how many I have sold or traded over the years that I regret getting rid of.

He looks great! The colour scheme is ace too - original, but has a real feel of Rt-era White Dwarf.

Surely not -  I hear Brisneyland is the home of Adventure.  :D

Seriously though, great brushwork - he looks ace.
