Both softtop hummers finished and a four man delta team in NBC gear completed too:

Just sealed so still a little shiney in the pics: Went with a desert delta colour for the harness and helmet. Not too sure about the helmets, may redo. Also went for a camo'd weapons, green, grey and olive drab, with the red sights, think this came out well. Not a clean and simple as my first NBC lot but I I reckon.

Looking pretty sharp there, Cmdr!!

But I have to agree... a civilian one with a 3 painted on the side... it's a must.

Wonder if there are near miss miniatures for those four?

More fencing:

Another type of fencing, this one is designed to completely bock off and area of the table thats been quaratined, (so redundant table egdes without spawn points):

Took:

Plasti-rod (square)
fence mesh
pin vice drill
jewller's wire.

cut the post tops at right angles to take the 45 degree fencing top pieces.

Posts then drilled four times to accept the jewllers's wire, with the wire threaded through it's pulled taut, (ish) and glued in place (gives it a more realistic fencing look omho).

Two pieces give me a 10" section which is enough to cover my two lane roads and respective pathways either side.

Second bit to glue together tonight then undercoat tomorrow.

(as posted eslewhere)

I've gone for some more wire colied along the top but not sure whether it's too much or not:

Although I may have answered my own question in looking at them again this am.

Gone! Didn't like how I'd executed it. (Also I need to find that wire that's got wire wrapped around it for more convincing barbed wire. I may do something else eventually but for now these need painting and the signs mouting. :D

Better wire would help (the barbed stuff), but the idea is a sound one.

Yes, you see a lot of real fences with extra coils added to try and keep the thieving scrotes out.

Probably doesn't work in practice, though  lol

I think this thread could well turn out to rival Overlord's infamous "Geezers..." thread.

Superb stuff indeed!

Where are you finding those fencing posts, Cmdr. Vyp?

They're a lot better than the bamboo skewers I'm thinking about using.

Undercoated earlier, painting later.
