Thanks all! Glad you like them.

He's a conversion from a Citadel AD&D hobgoblin! I sculpted the beard and hat

Great conversion!

I love the new warband and the Felix conversion is excellent!

Thanks batu & Bloggard!

Some new additions to my Lone Wolf Citadel Guard now. All 3 are converted (2 simple headswaps and 1 more complex):

Thanks AKULA. I generally try and make conversions tie in with the overall look - here there's a nice static regimented swagger that I was trying to mimic.

Mission accomplished I would say. Amazing warband.

A new foray for me in the form of some 3D printed terrain I picked up from ebay. This was bit of any experiment with a lower price point product and some cheap spray paints.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with the results. I know the print lines show in the photos but at 2ft away on the tabletop, you barely notice them.

Look great and I thought they were chisel marks form the stonemason 😉

I could happily go with them being chisel marks :D

Continuing my current theme, I've painted a pair of wizards to go with my Citadel Guard, allowing me to field an instand Frostgrave warband. The two wizards riff on the sun iconography sported by the Citadel Guard, flipping the colour scheme to something richly gold and yellow with blue accents (the reverse of the blue and steel with yellow accents).

Both figures are converted entirely from my bits box. The apprentice with the staff originated as a Citadel fighter, whilst the wizard is based on the later Warhammer Empire character Balthasar Gelt.

Thanks batu! The mask was the key to linking the two figures together - I think it was worth the time to cover up the underlying face.

Very cool thread, are those guards heads from Eureka miniatures?

Thanks! No, the Guard heads were some I commissioned for the project by sculptor John Pickford (you can see some of his other work at Foundry, Otherworld and Crooked Dice amongst others).
