Just got my Forgeworld Tau Gnarloc Riders..... I'm on a Tau kick: the Kroot are going to be used for Skinnie Brute proxies for Starship Troopers, when not being used for their intended purpose. More Gnarlocs are on the way......!

One miniature is too many, and a thousand are not enough...

Picked up today from the GPO my order of Battle Honour packs from Old Glory 15s.
One each of the French mountain troop codes for WWII. They are beautiful figures.
A couple of packs of early war Germans and Waffen. Very nice figures and as above full of action.

WW1 Russian cavalry command. These guys are super and I'll be buying more packs to complete my unit.

WW1 French Zouaves MGs. These guys come with one pair firing an one pair moving. These guys are very good. You get a couple of riflemen as well.

Best wishes,

17 wood elves (helms deep)
42 high elves (second age)
3 knights of gondor
1 gondorian bolt thrower and crew
and about another 6 or 7 lots still to come through.

The new WW1 command and Lewis gun packs and some of the BUF packs from Musketeer bought at Penarth. Really lovely. Aso a GWM early-war Vickers and crew and a section pack of British from Woodbine.
Finished the painting on the various "army" types last night - just got to do the bases and varnishing now. The BUF are undercoated black and that's as far as I've got with them. Will do them as my next batch along with the assoted police figures I bought at Warfare.
Glad to be back in the mood for painting after all my problems of the past couple of years.

Also check out the Czars Bodyguards from the Anarchist vampires section. They  are nicedy dressed figures in fir hats, greatcoats over uniforms and armed with pistols, sabres and rifles.

A very nice selection of figures. zendarian slayers are very nice figures ideal for VSF themed era. My two Zendarian armies are based around these figures!
for the czarists boduguard: nice figures, too. They can expand the Romanov sets . What I think, they are not made to field large units from them. Only small gangs. You may also add some Artizan's cossacks , too!
Just the link to Backofbeyond times about Romanov "to teach the youngs and remind to the older"!

I bought a packet of Zombies from Hunt Miniatures (3). Unfortunately I realised they were big but when I got them home and measured them they were 33mm to the eye . They tower above my Rage Zombies but I guess they would fall into the normal range of human dimensions and Zombies look odd anyway so should mix in ok.

Some more doubles from the Atlas Lucky Luke range, for conversion purposes.

And two sets from the Pixi Lucky Luke range, to expand the Atlas range:

Cowboy and herd:

School teacher and two students. With the Atlas set, that now gives me two teachers and 4 kids (one of the two teachers will get a career change before rejoining the town):
