It is starting to motivate me to get my Crossfire Forces finished...That is a Company but because of the ratio it is actually the same number of minis as CoC and could be used for either with a few extras...
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.

Cheers!

So another ten painted.  Mostly the actual as sold Waffen SS Winter chaps in parkas.

Tried a few different parkas.

I do love the Metal winter German range. Just a pity there's not more sculpts, as I'm not really a fan of mixing plastics and metals.

Lovely paintwork as always old boy!

I agree there should be more of them!

It would be nice if they at least did one support pack to go with them.

As for mixing, I’m a fan of individuality so needs must.  Still, there are some great support choices that mix well and I will be throwing a few Artizan miniatures bits in too.

Nice painting Digits! Really like the way you've done the camo. Oddly enough it actually looks like it's starting to blur the edge of the figures into the mat! So careful you don't loose them.

I was going to give you the benafit of the doubt :D

But I have to say I am always impressed by those who take on camo as a task. I think it is probably the hardest thing to paint on a mini! And you have managed to do it justice! 8)

I am guessing the Naps are on pause for the moment ;)

That's called effective camouflage!

Thanks guys.  I’m not one for bright looking camo done in the style of “a small representation” that I see on some minis.  I prefer to dull it down, and keep it relatively small which does tend to naturally darken the minis.  Often this means you struggle to see the detailing I think....but it works for me.

Will be having a go at the two zeltbahn wearing minis I converted tonight....should look interesting I hope.

Naps will be resumed shortly.  Just want to get these guys done as the promise of a game or two always trumps longer term aspirations!

The converted minis in zeltbahns.  Adds variety and a little interest.

Top work there. I reckon the colour selection is excellent. Very tempting to go back and look at the Empress Volksgrenadiers now.
