North Star sells Projekt X to ???
« on: August 12, 2009, 01:05:34 PM »
Seen on TGN last week (Aug 8):

"North Star Figures have announced that they have sold their Project-X Weird War range as well as their 1:48 WWII range. The new owner(s) of these ranges set to be announced next week."

Anyone heard more?

Not heard who.  But it would be great to update THIS thread when the news is out so I don't have to look anywhere else.  ;)

I have some painted Projekt X figures that I will be offering for sale.  (Wondered why Nick never used the photos after he asked for them.)

I think it could be to Company B and/or Brigade Games. Just a guess though.

I kinda doubt that as Brigade/Company B have their own ranges on the subject and wouldn't be compatible.

Project X and the 1/48th don't fit in with the Brigade lines, I doubt it would have been them.

HLBS already do 40mm horror figures, maybe to add to them?

PX and the related WWII figs (many sculpted by Richard Ansell) are 1/48th scale (34mm-36mm), so they're too big for 28mm and too small for 40mm.

Not many companies in the 1/48th *minis* business -- Sloppy Jalopy, Tumbling Dice, Fox Miniatures (?), Rest Models, HLBS (modern), and Enemy Lines.

C'mon Nick! Who is it???
