Lets not sweat it boys, I'm just grateful for the 99% of positive comments received.

......just a shame that some people think "TMP behaviour" is acceptable on such a positive forum as LAF

Using AI Copilot, please find below a Bolt Action Modern scenario set during a fictional Russian invasion of the Baltic states in 1999. It’s designed to reflect asymmetric warfare, NATO rapid response, and mechanized combat.

🎯 Scenario Title: “Red Storm Over Riga”
A Bolt Action Modern Scenario – Russian Invasion of the Baltic States 1999

🌍 Setting
Location: Outskirts of Riga, Latvia
Time: Early morning, late autumn
Weather: Overcast skies, light drizzle, muddy terrain
Conflict: Russian armored spearhead pushes into Latvia. NATO forces scramble to hold key infrastructure and delay the advance.

🧭 Mission Objectives
Primary and Secondary Objectives
Russian Forces:
Capture and hold the communications hub by Turn 6
Destroy NATO armor; secure bridge crossing

NATO Forces:
Prevent Russian control of the hub by Turn 6
Hold defensive line; evacuate civilians (scenario rule)

Russian Forces
Russian Mechanized Assault Group
3 Motor Rifle Squads (BTR-80 transport)
1 T-90 MBT
2 T-80 MBTs
1 Recon Team (Veterans)
1 Forward Observer (Artillery or drone strike)
1 Engineer Squad (Demolitions, flamethrower)
1 Sniper Team
Optional: Electronic Warfare Specialist (jams NATO comms)

NATO Rapid Response Force
1 Latvian Infantry Squad (light weapons, defensive bonuses)
2 U.S. Infantry Squads (Bradley IFV or Humvee transport)
1 Leopard 2A6 or M1A2 Abrams
1 Recon Fireteam (Veterans)
1 Sniper Team
1 Mortar Team (smoke rounds available)
Optional: Airstrike (Eurofighter or drone)

Map Layout
Urban Zone: Central area with 3–4 buildings (communications hub, apartment blocks, shopfronts)
Bridge Crossing: On one flank, key for Russian maneuvering
Forest Edge: Provides cover for NATO recon and ambushes
Road Network: Facilitates vehicle movement; muddy terrain slows off-road travel

Special Rules
Civilian Evacuation: NATO may spend an action to escort civilians off the board (bonus VP).
Electronic Warfare: Russian EW unit may force NATO to re-roll successful orders once per game.
Fog of War: On Turn 1, visibility is reduced to 18" due to weather and confusion.
Airstrike Delay: NATO airstrike may only be called in from Turn 3 onward.

🏆 Victory Conditions
Condition   Victory Points
Control of Communications Hub   5 VP
Each enemy vehicle destroyed   2 VP
Each squad eliminated   1 VP
Civilian evacuated (NATO only)   1 VP each
Bridge held (Russian only)   2 VP

🔥 Narrative Hooks
Russian forces are probing NATO defenses to test response times.
NATO must hold long enough for reinforcements to arrive.
Local resistance may emerge in later turns (optional rule: partisans)

Cold War Heats Up 1999 - Narva Thunder. Mission Overview: During an incursion into the Baltic States, Russian VDU forces have dropped behind Latvian lines to capture the Narva Bridge—a vital crossing for AFVs and logistics. Latvian defenders must hold the bridge long enough for NATO QRF to arrive.

Great set up as usual mate. Very interesting use of AI, makes a very good plan. Wonder if you could use it, to play a turn as the enemy. Give it the situation and see what it comes up with?
