Just need to place it so I can get access to replace the batteries and switch it on and off
Been fixing up some other bits of the toy

An awesome build!!  8)

I've been on the lookout for a cheap Kenner toy one to convert, but these days, they're rather dear I found.

So scratchbuilding one is a great solution indeed.

Can't wait to see this beast painted!  :)

Can I suggest you maybe put some tin foil on the inside of your engine? That'll cut out the light bleed through the plastic card. Even painted, it'll still show through.
