That said, are you doing any with the Bigeard Caps (DBP29)?

I am saving those and the boonie hats for the Vietnamese paratroopers

Lovely painting on your French.
I purchased some of the same figures when they first came out.
Before Empress picked them up.
They still set in my unpainted lead pile all these years later.
Went with US in Vietnam instead. (My war)

I was going to stick with Indochina, but the allure of those Hueys and recreating scenes from my favourite Vietnam movies, was just too great of a temptation.

As someone who has games Vietnam on-and-off for 35 years, starting with Platoon 20 figures, I currently have the period in 1/200 using Skytrex vehicles and helos, and Mainforce Miniatures figures. I am quite interested in a larger scale ( ie 20 or 28mm) but wonder what are a recommended ruleset. Any advice?

The M5 is a 3D print at 1/50 scale, its printed in resin so less obvious print lines. I can put you in touch with my printer guy if you like?
