Thanks everyone, for your comments and support...just need to finish off blending all the components together and then on with the painting.  :D

Smiling & humbled you clicked with my sentiment sir :)  Coincidently, a week ago I was thinking on that very comment I made, & if I am allowed to under the rules, I am after rumminating on my own words going to be changing my build from the Hill Fort terrain to something far, far darker.

Being that you have the stomach for such matters, evidently so lol, & after I get a Yay or Nay from the Hammers in allowance of changing direction, I may run the concept past you first if you'd be willing. It in no way breaches or mimics what you are doing, nor anyone else come to that, so no fret there, but I think you will be able to give me good forecast as to how it may or may not taken on by my fellow LAFers, as mentioned, it is very, very dark, thematically & visually. For certain it will prove an NSFW. I will then seek a further Yay or Nay from admin after your input.

If you don't have the time, no probs man, so genuinely, no pressure & no hard feelings if unable or simply don't want to  :).

Cheers.

More than happy to discuss your concept if you want to PM me, but if Hammers says it’s within the rules I’d say go for it....I’m not sure that I’m qualified to speak for the LAF’ers hive mind.

As for ‘having a similar idea’ I’m not precious about this, so if there is something you want to build then do it...I look forward to seeing what you come up with  :)

Getting excited & making jokes about dropping Nepalm on little Asian Children in a Viet' village doesn't make it ok just because 'it's wargaming & not real'. You wanker scum need to look again at the real photographic horror of such chemical weapons. Seriously Disgusting mind set amongst some you.

Seriously not a problem... if anything I look forward to seeing what you come up with, as it might spur me on.

Have been snowed under with work the last week or so, and so haven’t made any progress....aiming to tidy up the components and get everything knitted together this weekend, as I suspect I’m going to need as much time as possible for the paint side of things....

Finally back to it after being crazy busy at work, and injuring my arm  ;D

Bit more progress today - everything is now attached to the bases, and more milliput applied.

Akula, too bad we are running down on time.  You could have added some peasants looting the dead onto one of the bases.

I did think about looters, but to be honest I like it better with just the crows

Here; have another +1!  ;)

Painting is going to be yet another monumentous task though; so many details!

The end result is going to be impressive to say the least.

Totally agree! But I'd rather see the fully dressed up shot with troops and stuff representing a bloody battlefield. Its a shame we are only going to get shots with plain backgrounds first! :(
