Cheers fella.

So I have now ordered the rules and tokens etc, along with a few other minis, but I am close to having two viable opposing forces now.

Here are the first four of the ruffians set.

The Witch and the Widow

The Drunkard and the Drifter

Fantastic! I've eyed these models to add to my Bandit Buntai.
Great work all around here!. I've shared this thread with some non-LAF buddies for inspiration.

Glad you like it, cheers.

Just ordered another clutch of buildings from Oshiro, which will keep me going for a bit I feel.

I have the Unlikely Allies and Ashigaru Scouts sets on order too.

Looking about, I feel a pack of Samurai from Steel Fist, a few alternate Ashigaru from Clash of Clans and a set of villagers may well be on the cards…..

But I have to say I’m trying to keep on top of the minis as I purchase them for this (something I’ve failed to do so on every other project I’ve started 😏) So,m they can probably wait!

Edit :

More roads under construction.

The Ruffians are excellent.  Particularly like the fellow drinking from the saki bottle.

Whilst eagerly waiting on my first order from Oshiro to arrive, I thought I’d make a test strip of yotsume-gaki (four eyed bamboo fencing).   Pretty happy with the result but time consuming to make!   I hate tying knots!

Still, I need to order some more 1mm plasticard to make a few more strips.   I will probably make another four or five like this…that should suffice.

You will need lots of bottles of 29g £1 superglue (Tesco sell “securefix”).  Otherwise it’s a doddle.

Thanks Troy!

Not as messy today tbh thanks….eyes a bit glued so no painting tonight!

I have however made a few more sections of fence.  Hopefully finish them tomorrow.
