Mikes Necro Dark Future for J. Hooligan Esq
« on: 26 June 2021, 12:41:05 PM »
I was mentioning on another thread that we used to use the DF miniatures for PA games but using the Necromunda rules. Jack mentioned he would like to see the figures. So after a major expedition to the garage here they are.
Never take a taxi South of the river

Security at the Gas station is tight.

A stand off

The boys in err Blue

Some Pay cops protecting the bank

Some religious types rattling a collection tin

Down the recycling center Big Ozza kicks off. Someone has mixed up plastics and tins.

Woman drivers

We didn't do any car combat as such. We used the cars as battle taxis I guess.

I started buying these Vampire types as a new faction before the interest fizzled out.

Nope, no pics.   Lesson to be learned :  Don't use 3rd party pic hosting sites.

Nice! These look great! I love the bold, bright colors used on the minis and terrain...gives the table a 2000AD-sorta vibe. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, where are the 20mm vampire "lost boys" type minis from?

The vampires are from MJ miniatures.

So, were you playing with the 90s Necromunda ruleset? It looks like these would be models for...van sar, cawdor, goliaths, and orlocks maybe?

I think I have a memory stick with the stats I was using. Have used Necromunda for everything from old school space opera to Arnhem.

With this scale (appx 20mm) you can use hot wheels, matchbox cars, you have a world of HO scale buildings and other terrain to choose from.... you can be the kid in the candy store with this.   I'm a 28s guy m'self, but highly recommend 20s.   I played some 20mm WWII and had a blast.    The scale still allows for some detail, but also allows you to field a lot of minis in a smaller space.

Good work on these.   Post more as you bust 'em out.
