How about an oxen sized protoceratops? It might have to be 3D printed.
I'm not sure if any are available in that size from miniatures manufactures.
The real life dinosaur was smaller but maybe the lizardmen bred them larger.
I think it would fit the look of your army nicely. Just a suggestion.

Perhaps they could mount a few jingals (rampart guns) in the howdah.

Great idea, thanks will check out if I have something suitable.

It has been a while but I have been planning my artillery battery of 3 guns and limbers along with a munition wagon. But will probably drop the artillery mounts as the creatures aren´t ideal for this purpose.

I think the mounts work fine  :)

What is it that puts you off using them?

Thanks, to be honest not sure think I imagine using more bulkier creatures and think the only one available pose isn't quite the right look but may change my mind though as there's no hurry. The creature itself is great, very cool pose and excellent detail, should have to check but think it's an old Asgard Miniatures figure now available through Alternative Armies.

Maybe add an extra one to the limbers and a few extra to the carriage to negate the lack of bulky draft animals?

I LOVE this thread! One of my favorite genres! This is not intended to be critical in any way, merely my own opinions.
I love the crew and the guns, but the limbers remind me too much of 19th, early 20th century Earth. I think a simpler Napoleonic French style limber would look more appropriate.
As for the draught animals, I agree these look a little to slight, especially for heavy guns. For example, Etsy has all kinds of critters:

Once again, no criticism, just my 2 cents.

Thanks, good ideas might be worth adding some more draft animals like 4 per limber but dislike the look of three. Looks more neatly when there are 2 pairs pulling the limber.

Thanks, the limbers are already bought so will probably continue to use these but good ideas on the draft animals although looking for some more gentle herbivores.
