Those Prussians are great. The white uniform with Pickelhaube looks splendid and the contraptions are typical VSF goodness!

Yep, I agree the white looks great against the Pickelhaube. :)

And the giant pepperpots are awesome :)

That looks Brilliant!  I love the "thermos" tanks in the background. Are they scratchbuilt?

Can't wait for pictures of the display game.

Cheers
Fuzzy.

They're one-use coffee cups upside down... with Svennns glorious rivet strips added. And the turret.
One of my axioms when doing this is that everything must vent steam. Even the dinosaurs with turrets I've made have steampipes with steam coming out. I love VSF!

I'm so happy you do!!! ;D

I'm painting my prussians with a "star wars" palette... without making it too silly though.

When I'm done doing the prussians I shall delve more into the occult allies and mythos dingies that habite the world we're in the middle of making.

That is a lovely VSF collection.  :-*

What's next on the build/painting list?

Don't!

Next up my end are 8 prussian infantry automatons. (the ones from Ironclad again). I've been looking to the Wizard of Oz for inspiration....  but so far the toss is tied between C3P0 goldstyle and tinman silverstyle.,..  o_o

I'm also converting 8 prussian jagers. With magnetizer guns of course. This powerful weaponry fueled by unobtainium is capable of creating magnetic fields way beyound the 50 T you see in our world. Of course it causes a lot of havoc in the Steam and Iron Plate Age!

Silver with black Iron Crosses and numbers etc might look nice and a bit more "Prussian" than gold. Didn't the officers wear silver and black sashes?

I can honestly say that I haven't got a clue!  :D

All I do know though is that I won't make them bronze... as my opponents automatons are all bronze.

Perhaps I should mix light grey and metal medium!?

Now Horisont is amazingly soon... and I'm working around the clock to get near finished.

I guess me and my gaming buddies underestimated the amount of work needed. Hehe.. we always do!

I WILL get done though... somehow!

There's one board more to go... and some 40 prussians that need a finishing touch.

I managed to find a way to do the prussian tents.

and some banner bearers!

Yeah, hopefully we will have some great action pics after the weekend...

And if the game fails to be good we can always fix the battle report and try again next time  ;)
