Doing the final preperations.

Mammoth kill markers, to hand out to the players instead of the actual mammoths.

Two more DeeZee mammoths.

11 mammoths

I am waiting on bases for the mammoths, they were sent to me, from UK, on saturday, so hopefully they will arrive here tomorrow or friday at latest. If not I will have to game with no mammoth bases this time.

The final things I need to do now is; the mammoth bases of course, paint the last caveman bases (I am half done) and I need to paint some more on the torches.

Next is going to Esbjerg and hunt!

They just might, I just wish I had some of those DeeZee baby mammoths too... they should be re-released by Primaeval Designs any day now, but too late for this hunt.

I think it was agreed at the playtest, that it was a bad idea to hand out the mammoths to the player, once they killed them, since it would be hard to resist banging them around, stomping whatever...

I do have one dead mammoth miniature though, but it is still unpainted.

We expect lots of good photos from this epic (indeed, mammoth)(sorry...) game, you know.

Can't wait to see pics of what it all looks like laid out to play. Wish I could get around the world to see it in person...

I will be bringing my camera, to take as many pics as I remember... Often I forget to take photos in the heat of the battle...

The postman just arrived and he had no mammoth bases for me today either... hopefully they will be here tomorrow.... If so I will be in a hurry to glue, sand and paint, but with the help from my radiator, it should be possible... I really hope they get here, the game will look so much better with the mammoths based.

Terrible news, the mammoth bases did not make it in time. I orderes them on the 14th and they were sent from UK the 19th. It should have been in time for delivery, but the mailman only brought me things which were sent from UK the 21st.

Sometimes I think the postal service hate me.

Well, they seem to stand quite well on their own? Maybe you can use them as is for now? Would be a shame to miss the game tomorrow...

I will use them as they are and paint the bases in some brown colours. It is mainly a matter of looks.

Nothing will be cancelled, so don't worry about that

Looking at the pic I think the Fenryll mammoth you got from me is the least attractive sculpt in the lot.
