Warbases - in the blog, I review (that sounds too grand, I critique… bitch about… weigh in on…) the Sharp Practice bundle they have, and the accompanying horses and drivers.

I just got one of the kits, what lessons were learned on the Clarence Carriage?

As I mentioned on FB, I was thrilled that you posted this, I've been hoping for several years now to find one like the carriage use in the Sleepy Hollow movie, and this is the style.  It's even more anachronisitic in a movie set in 1799, but rule of cool.

I'll have to jack up the suspension on mine.  The model kit appears to be built after a low-rider streets of London version.  Google shows other examples like the one in the movie that ride a lot higher for off-pavement use.

Don't attach the seat until you've painted the carriage. Absolutely nigh on impossible to get behind it. Similarly, if you're going for a viewable interior, don't glue on the roof - that was my plan, but prefered the curtain idea.

Lots of great ideas here.

A new recruit… Father Shandor about a hundred years early before his appearance in Dracula Prince of Darkness.

More info on the character on the blog - http://anevilgiraffe.blogspot.com/2025/02/father-shandor.html
