This is looking great! Reminds me of the old Dragontooth Magic Shop from their City of Magic series.
I completely forgot about that kit!  Very good call as that is the level of clutter along the walls that I am looking for.
I am enjoying this project. The framing details are nice but for some reason the flooring does it for me in this building.
Thanks for the comp.  I am trying to keep construction techniques similar with the rest of the building in the city so I did the floor in the same style.  Since this is a shop rather than a temple or public structure I will be changing the colour pallet and most likely adding rugs and papers onto the floors.

Had a day off so finished construction.  Just have to texture the roof, build a chimney and gap fill.

Also have been playing with the interior elements.

Hope you like.

Beautiful project!  The walls seem a little thicker than your “period” home would have had.

Thanks for the comments all.

True.  My biggest complaint about realistic vs practical is scale creep with almost all wargame models. If I was purely building a model I would make it as realistic as possible.  As this is to be used for terrain I am not against making it a more robust structure and having items that are out of scale.

Here is where I am stopping for the day.  Everything is glued in place but my fat fingers glued to a couple of points and they need touching up.  Still have more weathering to do and a couple of other bits and pieces.
More photos on my blog if you are interested.

That's spectacular!
The detail is simply amazing.  More so your dedication to do it.
I love having those sorts of details in my terrain, but I hate spending time on it.
Do you have more buildings at that level?

Great job and those carpets are brilliant  :-* both in the execution and the color that they bring.
