Thats a fine crew!

If you want officers, a few of the pirate captain figures should do ok I think.

Alternately seek out seven year war or war of spanish succession officers.  If you can find an unmounted one.  I think front rank has some.

I got some nice eureka figures I was going to use as gov't troops as well.

Thanks!

The centre guy is a AWI British artillery officer from Front Rank miniatures.

The other 2 are British infantry officers from Foundry's AWI range.  The guy raising the wine glass is actually an Ensign, with the open hand ready to accept a flag pole.  I just scratch-built a wine glass from scrap plastic and wire.

Some historical inaccuracies - RN officers don't appear to have worn sashes.  Also, the infantry officers have their long tail coats turned back, while RN officers did not have the turnbacks.  Finally, RN officers generally only wore white stockings and effeminate shoes on board ship.  I'm not sure if they would wear boots like these guys here.

But I'm happy with them and they'll do for Pirate games!

Marines are like sailors in pirate games. You can never have too many of them.

These are gorgeous. My reds and whites never turn out that nicely!
