Wonderful stuff and a very good impression of German Field Grey.  I do like the Zvezda kits, I have one on the painting table now but destined to have an AB crew.  However having recently bought some WW2 French from Simon's Soldiers (the old Blitz Miniatures) I may see what else is in his range.

Playing a campaign set in Burma 1944 and I needed to add a couple of extra sections to my British. The existing figures are from AB Figures and so it made sense to have more of the same. Here they are:

I wasn't completely happy with the Fallschirmjager MG42 teams from Simon's Soldiers that I used with my AB Figures when putting together a platoon. I resisted the urge to replace them but in the end I picked up a few of the AB HMG sets (which are essentially men carrying MG42s anyway). Much happier with these and the way they fit in. Had Adler released their Fallschirmjager sooner I would have grabbed a few of those and I may yet pick up a few. Meantime here's the new AB additions:

A new piece of terrain from an old kit. This is a Tri-ang bridge, later produced by Hornby. A nice sturdy piece that looks the part and soon to feature in a campaign set in Malaya 1942.

That's a lovely bit of terrain. Ideal for the Sittang Bridge or similar.

The bridge saw its first action in the opening game of a Driving Charge campaign for Chain of Command set in Malaya. Also a first outing for a new river made using a method I’ve seen used very effectively by using plastic sheet.
