Games Workshop Horses
« on: 27 May 2022, 09:39:38 PM »
Like anyone with a WFB army, I’ve got a load of horses with their tails broken off. So I’ve decided to replace them with something more robust. Does anyone have any suggestions? I’ve looked at few of other plastic ranges, but most seem way too small.

Make your own easy to replace with some wire and green stuff and will look better and more varied than the original...

Someone could perhaps 3D print you a bunch, and you could just keep them on hand, or magnetize them.

I had a similar problem and just carved some new tails out of sprue, with one end whittled so I could plug into the horse. Job done.

This is what I would do, except I would use a little bit go extra sprue trimmed down, and set inside the green stuff tail, just enough to let you use plastic glue to bind it to the horse. Might take some experimenting to do if you haven't tried it before.
