I bought a lot of Musketeer Miniatures from Bill Thornhill a number of years ago and was quite pleased with the quality. I continued to buy when Footsore took over and didn't have any problems. I haven't purchased anything recently. I'm sorry to hear about quality problems, but am glad for the heads up.

Received some of the Goth armoured spearmen and Goth command over the weekend. With a few minor alterations (bye bye stirrups) I think they will go nicely with the Footsore mounted Goths. As usual, sculpts are really clean with very little in way of flash or mould lines. Makes it so much easier when you don't need to spend more time cleaning the casting than painting them. Well done Aventine.

Hi, I asked this exact question over a year ago for the same reason. Unless the sculptor has had a change of heart the answer is "no". A real shame as IMHO they would complete the range nicely plus no-one else produces pre or even "Arab Conquest" figures.

And one would have to define what Arab is supposed to designate precisely for this period. Is it the Yemenite or Hedjaz kingdoms ? Already some differences between desert dwellers and coastal residents, Jews, Christians or Pagans.
Then the fringes of Iran ( south coast) the Sinai, Syria ... the Ghassanids and Lakhmids and others. The Saraceni most feared by the Eastern Romans, and probably those who really did the early islamic conquest ( as Mekka may not have existed yet at the time). You have Iranian Asavaran influence, Aethiopian influence ( they conquered south Arabia), Roman influence, up to some point for each flavour. That makes for a large range indeed, but usable in multiple armies.
