They look great! How dou you sculpt the riders so that they fit the horse but can be removed for casting? (They are detachable somehow I guess.)
Yes. All riders are removable. Riders fit any horse. They can even be placed on Calpe horses.
Someone makes bags and rolls together with the rider (it’s easier to cast it in metal), but I made it so that the horse separately from the rider and the rider apart from the horse have the right to exist in a completed form.
So, I take a horse and install a mannequin on it (a wire frame and some material in the pelvic and chest area), the feet must be flush with the horse's chest.
It is difficult for me to explain the sculpting process in words. If it's interesting - I can photograph each stage of modeling in the future.
