The era of Nicholas I

Greetings, readers of this forum.

I decided to make figures for the time of the reign of Nicholas the First. The size of the figures is 28 mm. I would be glad for any comments and links to books on the uniform of this period.

I am currently reading The Russian Army Under Nicholas I - 1825 to 1855 by John Sheldon Curtiss

It is very interesting covering the organisation and operation of the Russian army with a brief summary of campaigns against Persia, Turkey, the Poles and in Hungary as well as a look at the operation of the army in the Crimean war.

It's an interesting read. But no illustrations or uniform details other than broad description.

Very interested in figures for a Russian army for the campaigns between the napoleonic wars and the adoption of the helmet.  Id be keen to hear what your plans are!

Very nice.

Good to see some figures without greatcoats and Russians in attacking poses rather than just marching.

Are these compatible in height with the 28mm Warlord / Great War ranges or smaller 25mm Foundry / Ebor / Britannia figures ?

Unfortunately, I only have Warlord figures (Zulu War). I was guided by the size of Perry miniatures 28 mm. I'll try to post a pic of the comparison tonight.

Thank you for your questions. I'm wondering what my work is like. My motivation is starting to rise!

Now about color
1. At present, there are foreign policy difficulties.
These figures are the fruit of my creativity. I have the technology of drop casting, but the material for this implementation will not be available soon. If anyone decides to produce them, then contact me in a personal message.

In the future (if I do not lose interest), there will be a uniform for 1830.
Question. Make a figure for the Polish uprising of 1830 or a parade in Tsarskoye Selo?
