A quick swan around Googlefoo gleaned nothing. Does anyone produce signage suitable for Walmington-on-Sea? I'm thinking of the shops, butchers, grocers, funeral parlour and bank? any help would be most appreciated.

Harry, play around with Microsoft Word, or similar. Adjust sizes & fonts.
I don't bother with changing the background colours. I just give it a
thin wash or use a high-lighter later. It works for Western Gunfight buildings.

At the back of the Marigold Tea Rooms, Joe Walker's still ducking and diving!

"Right, so that's two chests of Lipton's Tea, 5lbs. of sugar and three boxes of custard creams. Leave it with me squire, know wot I mean?"
