It's tempting to get the starter, the I Am the Master set, and the Second Doctor promo set, but I would not be surprised if more unofficial sculpts come soon. I got a few of the Doctors in a Mystery Box from Warlord ages ago, so that will do me for now.

Between Big Mr. Tong and Crooked Dice, a fair number of options are already covered. Crooked Dice has some solid not-UNIT models including the Brigadier.

Current projects: collecting way too many vintage Warzone models.

Don't forget the Falklands War British from Gripping Beast as well. I use them as proxies to pad out my UNIT forces.

Can anyone recommend good Dalek and Cybermen models other than Warlord (they look decent but kinda pricey) and Big Mr. Tong (reasonably priced, plus I could bug a friend for a bunch if I paid for the STLs and resin)? I like BMT's stuff a lot but I wanted to see if anyone else had any recommendations.

Unless theres something I dont know about, I'm afraid your only other options would be the Black Tree Designs ones, they are great figures but BTD are notorious for not sending out orders. Very much pot luck with them.

If you like Big Mr Tong's stuff you can always buy it ready printed from Etsy.

Hopefully this post won't be deleted, but look up 3dkingdoms or tangentminiatures.com as well for sources of Big Mr Tong sculpts.

One of the Dr Who magazines gave away pretty good Dalek models a few years ago.
They may still turn up on EBay.

I’ve got those. The little nasties have mould lines from hell, but the sculpts are spot on 28mm.
