Another base of Germanic skirmishers, last lot until after summer as we are very full of wargames holiday guests for the DDay 80th anniversary battlefield tours and wargaming.

Another base of Germanic skirmishers

Of course if they hadn't lost the chariot keys right before the battle they would've played a more pivotal role.

It has been some time but some Cavalry additions, a mix of metal and resin warlord games cavalry.

I pinned the plastic half or metal half body to the lower metals legs on the horses, added green stuff or Vallejo filler to complete the riders Germanic metal heads. I was a bit worried about the resin when it arrived it felt a little soft and flimsy, but to my surprise painted up well, I did add saddle horns that were missing though with green stuff. Quite happy with the result.

Very nice! Congrats on pinning them together, some of Warlord's metals can be a right pain- looks like you got a good result, though!

That bloke blowing the trumpet thingy, on a galloping horse, looks a right headbanger!

Cheers lads, next up a Germanic general from the Warlord Games Resin range. I was a bit suspect with softness, but the figure painted up nicely, I did add green stuff to make saddle horns though. The dog I think is from the Gallic beastmasters pack.

Cheers

Another warlord Games cavalry unit, again a mix of plastic and metal.
