Very, very cool. That gas mask in particular looks fantastic, how long did it take you to reach this level of sculpting? (If you don’t mind my asking :))

Thank you! I am sculpting since  like 20 years, this brought me up to the level of around early 90s GW- compared to other sculptors carreer we can say I am neither talented nor a fast learner :) I enjoy it though!

The remaining Borderlands boardgame figures.
Bandits:

How were these to paint?  I have some on order but I wasnt sure what sort of handling/prep they need for painting.  Spray primer?  Gesso brush on?  Just paint them as-is?

Nothing special, I primed them with Citadel Chaos Black spray, and then came the regular layers. Their plastic is softer than for example GWs, but not the rubber type of some 1/72 figures.

...and a 40k Comissar. This one was originally my sculpt for the 1848 Hungarian Revolution project

, it really begged for being converted into a 40k comissar. Luckily I made more copies exactly with this in mind.

I made a friend for the sniper from page4. This one was a 3d sculpt of a Skitari, but it did not fit into my AdMech army so I made him into a sniper: removed the AdMech iconography and painted to mach my previous sniper. Desert caravans beware, now there are two of them.

Your two snipers are very cool minis, I find them particularly inspiring!  :)

Thank you! I might upgrade them into a full faction, i just need to think of a good theme rules-wise.

Their target/contract is a (randomly decided?) figure on the opposition's team.

Thanks, that is a great idea. Also them appearing randomly during battles with a third party as they are paid to hunt the prey down and they strike when its attention is divided. (For example certain rivals in 40k Parsecs send them after you)

You might have to include some restrictions. I know of a few Wargamers who would Nuke the planet
from orbit then claim, 'Yup we got the target'.  lol lol lol

Perhaps something like 100pts for getting the target, but lose 50pts for any 'Collateral' hits.

As I play these types of games solo, I do ot have to worry about the unrestricted bloodlust of the opponent, going for the target will just serve fine :)

...meanwhile I made new bases for these old 1/48 AMT Tie Fighters of mine, soon I will also play dogfights with them.
