Alas, then you really have to wait.
Ordering figures from Russia is available without any problems. You can download the catalog of the Siberia Miniatures store (20 mm; 28 mm; 54 mm): click here.

Hi everyone,

here is a little “spoiler”.
I built the vehicle for a new review which I will put online soon.
The model is from John Hart and is a 3D print in 1/56th scale.
Decals are from "Black Lion Decals".
More info and pictures later when the review is complete.

Th review for it you can now find here:

That looks really cool, but I bet the mileage is hell.

Perfect match of lettering and freehand skull to period photos of the prototype.  :-* Is the blueish grey correct? Pictures are only black & white/monochrome.

The lettering and skulls are decals. They are also not 100% historical correct.
The bluish grey is a bit bright on the pictures and a bit darker in daylight.

There is no evidence of what color the tank was painted.
Most pictures show the tank in a rather dark tone, so my personal guess is a dark grayish color.
But also a green or olive color yould be possible. Maybe it was "field gray".
(This was the name for a whole spectrum of colors ranging from gray to greenish and was only mentioned in the regulations of the former imperial army.
Since there was no RAL system at that time, there was no exact designation of the color.)

I don't know how typical gray is for a tank, but I know that many Russian armored vehicles during World War I and the Civil War were painted with the same gray-blue paint that was used to paint warships.

I don't know how typical gray is for a tank, but I know that many Russian armored vehicles during World War I and the Civil War were painted with the same gray-blue paint that was used to paint warships.

The original A7V tanks were painted standard field gray when they were introduced into the army.
The picture you have attached is the vehicle "Wotan" from the tank museum in Munster Germany.
They have opted for this color sheme. (Again: Field grey could be almost every color between gray and green. There was no standard.)

I opted for a gray color, as it corresponds to the canon of wheeled armored cars used by the Kokampf.
Of course, the color is speculative. But since the two A7V tanks always look very dark in the pictures, a gray color is very likely.

But surely the two A7Vs could also be painted in a shade of green. It's really all very speculative. There is no real right or wrong.

That looks really cool, but I bet the mileage is hell.

The fuel consumption must be similar to that of the A7V main battle tank from WWI.
Depending on the terrain the tank had a range of 30 - 70 km.

But I think the ride was hell for the driver and the commander in any case.
Crammed under a small dome that offered hardly any visibility and also meant the risk of hitting your head every time the vehicle made a sudden movement.

Here is a picture by daylight:

Lovely piece of kit. I opted for a greenish tone for my Hedi back in the day, but that grey really underscores the "landship" flair.

The rough steel surface is really convincing, wonderful effect for a 3d print.

I have a few more of those A7Vs on the workbensh. So I am planning to also create a green version of it.
