No idea, must have been the first game (that happened while I was on the M25 carpark for three hours  >:( )

Yep it was the first game, (Bobby is not going senile) It was shot down under exactly the same circumstances. You played the invincible mark2 hurridly hashed up by Herr Bullshott for the second day...

Could it be your betrothed-to-be better half is wearing them now? ;)

I'm probably thinking of a completely different game. Old. So very old...

Never mind, still looks like a great game, wish we could have stayed around for a bit more of it.

Oh, I remember this. Damn thing got shot down but landed as easy as you like and kept peppering away at my flank. The Preussians were tough as old ironshod boots that game.

Excellent report GM.

Having seen the models you made for the BRAS and MAMMARIES, I'm looking forward to seening more of your stuff in the future.

Might think about giving the BRAS some form of save  ;) . Its a pitty they fluffed their attack rolls with the explosive lances - it would have been interesting to see what effect the had on the steam tank and how that affected the balance of the game.

EDIT - Thinking about the short-lived BRAS in the battle, I think they actually performed an important role. Their size prevented the steam tank from firing on the advancing naval transport walker and, once they contacted the tank, they distracted that the Prussian troops on guard so that the troops fired on the BRAS instead of on the advancing walker. This ensured that the walker arrived at the objective in one piece and was able to disgorge its cargo of matelots. If the walker had taken a serious hit earlier in the game the result could well have been different.

Crap, you guys are having way too much fun. Great reports. It looks like the buffet in my dreams. Everything really looks so good.

I wonder if we west coast colonials could pull something like that off?

Yet again I'm deeply depressed at missing BLAM  :'(

All the games again look to have been outstanding and in terms of consistently high quality imagination, production and presentation BLAM is right at the cutting edge. It now appears to be one of the top UK gaming events - remarkable for such a short run :o

Three cheers for the mighty Malamute and everyone else who contributed to such adventuring goodness!
