Sorry to hear you aren’t feeling great.

The weathering/rust is excellent, particularly love the billboard.

Maybe for a bit more variety add a few scraps of tarpaulin onto some of the roof tops (tissue paper soaked with glue?)

Akula, that is the plan, I (stupidly) grabbed smooth toiletpaper as I only have wat overtexttured tissues at home....but I forgor toiletpaper is meant to dissolve in water....oops! So that went nowhere. As soon as I have finished painting what I have built now I'll do one with a cheap paper tissue brand ....that won't dissolve, I hope.

Looks really good...rust effects are excellent.

The corrugated look is spot on. Shipping containers have similar profiles and are perhaps a useful extension to the shanty.
They should be easy to make with an angle of cars or plasticard along the edges and some simple doors.

Recycled a H0 scale window in this build (used and abused H0 stuff is pretty cheap stuff and tends to have a lot of things I can recycle) and a quick tarp test, nothing super duper, but very functional. Scratch another shack off of the list. Now to take a short break to do other stuff and then back again to AK-47.
