More Jawas… didn’t realise I had quite this many in the paint queue, but to be honest there might be a few more kicking around… lol

All prints

Group shot of the Jawas…20 and counting…

…and a KX series Imperial security Droid (an official SW Legion plastic mini)

Loving the Jawas too.

I found some on ebay as well. How tall are they compared to the Stormtrooper?

I'd say that's a completely appropriate amount of jawas. Love them!

The imperial security droid is great too! Rogue One has totally altered my perception of them - they're now acerbic and sassy until proven otherwise.

They vary widely in size … I guess it depends upon how they’ve been scaled by the printer.

The smallest I’ve got are below waist high on a stormtrooper, and the others are mid-chest … fortunately Jawas do vary in height so the more variety the better.

Loving the jawas.  Still think you might need another dozen or so to round out the clan/tribe or how ever you describe the pack.

Thanks everyone  :)

Were are the for the Jawas from?

They are resin prints from a variety of different sources as there aren’t any official Legion Jawa minis yet… plenty of options on fleabay if you search by “SW legion 3D prints”. If you are on Etsy, I’d also suggest looking for “desert scavengers”.

Am still hoping that Legion will add some Jawas & Tuskens (although plenty of options for the latter from resin prints as well). Legion are finally releasing some killer bears, but the appearance of Mando/Book of Boba minis in the range has me hoping for more desert mini options

Re: AKULA’s Star Wars thread - pg6 Landspeeder
« Reply #86 on: 29 May 2023, 05:54:54 PM »
A change of pace this weekend … fancied adding a vehicle plus crew.

I settled upon a Landspeeder… the official SW Legion speeder comes with 3 heavily armed crew, but I wanted something a bit different. Since Id already added the “parked” speeder bikes I decided to have a mounted/dismounted version.

One of the crew heads that came with the Speeder was a Rodian (ie same race as Greedo), and luckily I had a spare head in my bits box so I kitbashed a dismounted version, using a spare shoretrooper body, plus some extra packs/pouch’s from Frostgrave. Once I’d built the dismounted version, I altered the driver figure to match (adding a pair of armoured arms from a spare stormtrooper), but left it unattached so it can be removed.

That's a great setup; very playable and painted really nicely too.  8)
