Thanks everyone.
Just the one model today, but it’s a big one… a StarWars Miniature At-At
It’s slightly out of scale…1/64th but works well without taking over the table.
This one had really yellowed due to sunlight, so I thought I’d give it a paint job…and at that point I started to play about with it, and decided to turn it into a wreck.
Apart from the damaged leg and the head tilt, I’ve pockmarked the hull, and added some trailing wires. The hull itself isn’t the easiest to work with, as it’s a bit thicker than what you’d encounter with a kit.

a group shot for sizing, with official SW Legion AT-ST, Biker and Stormtrooper

For anyone interested, there are a dozen screws on the underside of the model (not including the ones that hold the feet down). The legs are in pairs, but not reversible, so there isn’t a lot that you can do without major surgery in terms of leg position. However, once the dozen screws are removed, it reveals the “neck” which is secured to the body by another couple of screws. With a sharp saw you can alter the head position a bit, but it’s a shame a little more thought didn’t go into the join as it could have been made easier to vary the position.
Paint job: Primer, then base colour. Washes to pick out the panels, some highlights on the greys, then grubbed up. Varnished then rust added.
