As ususl in 20mm, this will be small scale sinlge unit action

First couple of Chindits for my 10 man unit which will be a mix of Eureka and 172scale figures with the odd AB Character thrown in

There's quite a lot still to do

Managed a couple more chindits

These two are 172scale

Sunny day off was crying out for some outdoor work

Thought the project needed a new jungle floor mat

Still a bit dark but will leave it over night before I add any more layers

Thanks it's just dried oregano

The mat still needs a bit of lightening up but at the moment I'm working on geting the British to look a bit more Chindit, there is a distinct lack of packs and gear

It's a simple addition but makes quite a difference in getting the look

These are wonderful Kikuchiyo, nicely done. I love the terrain too, that bunker looks so realistic.
So just dried oregano glued on the bases? Does it not crumble away when painted?

My late grandfather-in-law flew Liberators out of India, making the Burma Run many times.
Sometimes bombing strategic locations, others dropping agents into the jungle to gather local resistance groups - all while getting shot at by roving Japanese air patrols.
I could never listen to enough, his memory was so very clear on this part of his life.

Thanks

Raw dried Oregano, no paint just PVA dropped and sealed

While the 172scale stuff is great I've decided to go with Eureka/AB it's just that bit bigger and works better with the Japanese I have

172scale is more true 20mm than anything else

Here are the 5 men in Burma

Currently in light order but about to move out fully laden

Also knocked up this Japaniese spider hole hidden bunker objective marker

Kept it generic enough it'll fit my new Vietnam project too
