Two for Trafalgar - Santa Anna and Agamemnon
« on: July 08, 2023, 07:17:30 AM »
Two new models have recently joined the Trafalgar collection which will be out in force next weekend during a two day refight of the battle in Wales at the 16th century manor house Llancaiach Fawr, near Cardiff.

The Santa Anna and Agamemnon have been on my to-do list for a few months now and this game spurred me into getting on with them.

I enjoyed the blog post and am very envious of your games meet coming up!
What a beast that Spanish ship is, but the stat line shows how hampered it is by the poor quality crew.
My armies:
- Henry VIII's army (WIP) 15mm
- Ancient Germans (28mm)
- Ancient Belgae (Gauls with German allies) (28mm)
- Massilian Greeks (Greeks and Gallic mercenaries/subjects) (28mm)
- A few EI Romans (28mm)
- Handful of WW2 British (15mm)
- A load of old 1993-1999ish Warhammer Orcs and Goblins

Thank you, glad you enjoyed the read and we’re all looking forward to a proper ‘boys-beano’ next weekend and time to enjoy some proper Welsh hospitality.

Yes the Spanish are great fun to play as they have some marvellous ships, let down by their struggle to man them, so as a player you have to be very aware of their strengths and weaknesses.
