Thanks for the extensive feedback - that's always very much appreciated. Taking your comments in order:
- I checked with our distributor. It's indeed a small number in Ireland. I can certainly ask for an increase in distribution in your area if that's of interest. Of course, the best deal is always a subscription. ;-)

- I get it. The available choices are always and necessarily limited by our own limitations and by a need to keep the options somewhat limited. In the specific case of Warhammer: we try to avoid naming specific brands, but that's the elephant in the room. Would splitting it out into an elephant herd be helpful?

- I've been told the Warlord epic scale is indeed markedly bigger than the usual 10-12mm, but the available number of scales and sizes is perhaps getting a bit big. I've made a note to reconsider that next year.

- I'll also look at the inspiration section. Noted!

- Unpainted minis is a new, and possibly cruel and unusual question. I found it confrontational myself as well. I suspect the outcome may be encouraging to manufacturers...

Thinking about the unpainted figures section, a choice of ‘don’t know’ ‘unwilling to answer’ might be a good option to have.

Mainly because I haven’t got a clue  lol

Yeah, I hear you about the Warhammer 40,000 Mallo.

I think I put that as my 3rd choice, because I play a lot of games set in that universe, but I never play 40K and rarely buy anything from GW!  Most of the games aren't even GW but I use their universe as the backdrop, sometimes with and sometimes without their models.  However, I haven't really bought anything from them since Blood Bowl 2016 and a single KT21 team.

So it ended up 3rd on my list, but I never really give them any money.  I wasn't exactly sure how to square that, but 1 answer out of hundreds won't break anything.

I’ve made a note to rephrase the various GW options in the Era/Settings question to make it clear we’re after the 40K Universe, not a particular game or edition.

The Warlord epic stuff is just confusing. The reuse of the epic name compared with the earlier GW 6mm Sci fi ranges. And the fact that they have created a new scale that just doesn’t scale with any existing ranges - the closest it seems to be to is some of the old 15mm ranges.

I've completed it.

The magazine itself it pretty much non-existent in Ireland on shelves though so I never buy it any more, as its far too costly to order magazines direct from the UK.

Then buy the digital subscription. Along with my SoA subscription, my best value Wargames purchase for the year. WSS Digital is brilliant value (and no, I don't get paid to say that!)

Done (and shared on An Argader forum).

Some questions are very UK-centred (or should I say UK+NL+? centred) as the questions about buying figures at events etc. which do not really apply to France and probably to many other countries where not many figure companies or retailers come, and if they came they would not make much profit. But OTOH not many gamers in France etc. are able or willing to read (and subscribe to) a whole magazine in English.

Completed the survey a week ago.
I too am looking forward to the results.
As to the possible Board-gaming question, why not ask, 'Do you also play Board-games?'
That would at least give you an indication of some 'cross over' ;)

True, a simple enough question. Noted!

Here's another report with some comparisons of 2021 and 2022: https://www.karwansaraypublishers.com/blogs/great-wargaming-survey-blog-wss-magazine/gws-2022-the-best-part-of-wargaming
