So, it occurs to me that I have quite a bit of Malifaux these days. Might as well show some of it off!



This is my 1e dreamer crew. First bit of not-warhammer I ever saw. I'd like to think I've improved since then, but it's still pretty neat.

A local game store was having a sale a couple of years ago, including some 2e bokor. Why not?



Sure, I might not NEED six bokor at once, but I have one for Christmas, Halloween (pulling double duties for birthdays since that's my Dad's birthday) and Easter, so I'm sorted for several events.



Know what's better than gremlins? More gremlins! I just like Ophelia's little family (and the fact that her guns go brr).



They look better in person, but taking a decent shot of Perdita's entire family is beyond me, what with my usual photo spot overtaken by moisture.



Now, for my newest malifaux fellows: the Oxfordian Mages.



I didn't mean to go RGB for the colour scheme, I just wanted to have one representing fire, poison and ice...wind's a bit hard to paint.



A semi-local game store has some older 2e boxes with 3e cards, so I decided 'why not?'



Overall, I'm pretty happy with how they turned out, on their Infinity bases. I'm not a super huge fan of the concave bases Malifaux minis typically come with, but it's not usually too hard to find ways around them.

An interesting idea. I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever get around to doing windy folks.

The model's Burt Jebsen, from Wyrd. Saw him at the moab bring and buy this year and how could I not, honestly? I had to add a little green stuff to help stabilize the mini while the glue dried, so hopefully that pile of...dirt* isn't too distracting.

Seems like I only update this thing when my downstairs room has flooded. Must be a coincidence.



Pretty sure these guys don't mind, though.



Just a bunch of good ol' boys out for a good ol' time.



Looks like someone's already had a bit too much of a good time.



Those tiny wheels must be...handy to have around.

The model is Wyrd's Nightmare Edition Whiskey Golem and...nightmare's the right word. The number of times the swing broke off (a bit of a blessing in disguise as it made that gremlin easier to paint but harder to reattach) or when it straight up fell off the base (much less of a blessing in disguise as I just wanted the thing done by that point) but dang if it's not a pretty model.

Just a small update today.



It's the jade rabbit.



Hopping about, being a scheme generator.



Overall, not the easiest thing to put together (I did have to look up how a couple of parts went together and that one arm is TINY) but it came together pretty well. I figure a library-based gang would have words at their disposal, so I printed off some lorum ipsum and stuck random bits to the base. It looks pretty neat in person.

I'm back, this time with Mâp Máp!



He's...just so fluffy.



Even fluffier from this angle!



His little booklight friends add a much needed touch of whimsy to Malifaux's world. Overall, not a bad little project. Now, on to the book keepers!

Cheers! Those are some of my favourites, too. Malifaux might have fiddly minis, but they sure are nice.



And speaking of nice, I painted up some book keepers!



I snuck in a few book covers from things I've read. Can you spot them?



I will neither confirm nor deny how long I spent putting scribbles on the paper on the right.



Overall, pretty nice minis to paint up. The photos aren't the best, but when your usual hobby spot gets overtaken by 'seepage,' you do what you can. Just Linh herself to go now, then the gang's all here!

Now, for the main event - Linh Ly!



When I heard there was going to be a new Malifaux gang focused around libraries and stories, I knew I'd eventually get it.



Of course, with supply issues (and the Aussie dollarydoo) being what they are, it took me longer than I anticipated.



Nevertheless, she was a fun little project to put together (aside from the right arm falling off after I varnished).



And to top it off, a (slightly fuzzy) group shot.

Now that I have three modern core boxes painted, I should probably get around to playing sometime, shouldn't I?
