BSMALL2023 McMordain A camp of some sorts

Well my first idea is to make a fantasy/medieval themed campsite; 2-3 small tent, a campfire, some logs for sitting etc.
I may try to add some interchangeable elements, so that it could represent human, orc or beastmen camps as well.
Shouldn't be to difficult.

Well I know how to make this a little bit more complicated
For my current project I want to have at least two pieces of terrain that can represent a camp. I also want to have a bigger camp that can be used in raid scenarios. So the idea is to have this 6x6 piece as a part of a bigger camp, in a way that it can be used separately as well. Four 6x6 tiles would make a big enough camp for skirmish games.
I have  two sprues of mixed Renedra tents which I will use for three tiles and scratchbuild the fourth one for this competition.
The Renedra tiles will give me smaller tents so I will make a big tent befitting of a lord or knight.
Something like this

It will be closed as I definitely could not finish it on time with a full interior.
If everything goes right I can start the actual build tomorrow.

Todays progress:

Started with cutting out a template for the base, and a smaller one for the "roof". Then made a frame for the roof out of toothpicks and coffe stirrers.
Then I glued the frame to the two main support rods and fixed the thing to the base. After that I added the additional supports.

Now comes the harder part, adding the "canvas" to the frame. I'm not sure what material I will use for that yet. Probably paper tissue or paper towel will do but I'm a bit afraid as those are difficult to handle when wet and sticky with glue.
Also I kind of warmed to the idea to make an interior as well... I probably shouldn't but I'm very tempted

Thanks guys. The thing was indeed a bit fiddly to put together, but it's quiet sturdy now.

I did the flooring yesterday

and painted it today as it would be hard to do after the cover is up. Nothing fancy just a coat of Agrax shade. I will sand the floor back tomorrow to give it a used feeling.
