Little Wars TV- Battle of Thermopylae
« on: 22 September 2023, 05:14:18 PM »
Little Wars TV put on a great Battle of Thermopylae game.  Interesting it uses Land and Sea battle on a great looking board.  Some fun production values and two great game clubs were involved.

Youtube Link below:

I am of course bias because they used Men of Bronze for the land battle.

Also biased, as a participant. It was super fun to put together and play.

Great to see your rules used in such good report. I liked the intro to the game; frames the scenario nicely with context.

That video features some of Myke Cole's take on the battle, a historian and author of The Bronze Lie.  You can see Mark's Gaming Room interview him with some more detail on the battle and scenario design here:

Good concept with the simultaneous land and sea battles. Little Wars TV at it's best!
I am going to build a wargames army, a big beautiful wargames army, and Mexico is going to pay for it.
