And Culloden is a must-see site, if you haven't already been and should you get the chance...

Managed to get up there just over a year ago, only to find the battlefield centre was closed because of strong wind! Ah well, one day.

Bagot’s Hussars were only 50 men strong. Raised by John Murray of Broughton at Edinburgh. The name Bagot comes from the French-Irish Major John Bagot who eventually commanded this unit.
