I always think the companies who never offer any discount to their customers, tend to stick out like a sore thumb at this time every year 😏

In fairness, many of the smaller companies may simply not be able to afford it. It may also be a logistical issue for some that simply isn't worth the hassle.

I can think of several of the larger companies who also never partake, but obviously that’s their prerogative.

The sales still must make sense to the company offering it. If after doing the math they come to the conclusion the sale would not pay they won't offer it. As there are production costs involved especially in physical goods I don't expect the same kind of offers I get for digital ones (where I admit to having bought a whole year worth of projects this sale).

So while I'm glad to benefit from sales I don't think bad of any company not offering them.

Indeed. It’s not like retailers of physical products would have had pre-Black Friday discounts from their suppliers.
