What you painted in... November
« on: November 13, 2023, 10:28:23 AM »
Quite a few years ago we had a little feature here called 'What I painted in...' and it was basically a thread each month where people could post pictures of what they had completed in that particular month (What I painted in September for example).

I thought it would be a good idea to start the feature again. No rules, just post pictures of what you've managed to complete in a particular month. It can be anything really, figures, terrain, vehicles, tokens but lets just keep it to wargames related material  ;)

I'll start a new thread at the beginning of every month but anyone can contribute to the threads  :)

I'll kick things off with a few samurai that I've finished off.

I think this is a wonderful idea and, judging by the quality you two have already displayed, it would be a frequent view for me.

Just to lower the quality of brushwork somewhat here's the museum furniture I scratch built and painted mostly in October.

This is a timely thread.  I have been working on terrain until this month.
First up some Shreikers.  Midlam, Crooked Dice and Otherworld.

Some Stirges on my home made springy bases.  Otherworld

Two poisonous frogs Crooked Dice

Cockatrice and basilisk from Otherworld.

Enchanted toys to use as medium constructs in Frostgrave.  Midlam
A bottle of scotch and two aspirin a day will greatly reduce your awareness of heart disease.

I’ve actually completed some figures this month, which is the first for a little while. Some 10mm Manifestations for AWT

And some giant bones

This is great idea as a thread - so much variety already.

……..November (mainly):

A few Western figures for my son who wants to replace the tokens in a board game (Colt Express) with figures. These are mainly Black Scorpion - first time I’ve had resin figures and, to be honest, didn’t really enjoy the experience of painting them:

I agree- I love seeing what other people are up to. Myself, I have been having a GW kind of month. A buddy's adult nephew has discovered 40K and has been keen to play. After a couple of games I realised I needed some more firepower; hence, 4 Grey Knights with psycannons:

Although started in October, I finished these Horsemen of Khand the first week of November:

One more GK to finish then it's back to cleaning and priming Bloody Miniatures' A Chorus Of Disapproval.  :D

Good Idea - I love seeing what other folks do and just finished a few so here goes ...

Zombicide Black Plague, Runewars and GW mash up as a bandit

and GW Chaos Knight, Runewars Elf and Massive Darkness (I think) Rogue

I hope this proves popular.  I know I'll use it to inflict my efforts onto everyone now and then and it might actually help improve my output.

No dear, they are not toys, they are models
