Your paint work is beautiful, OSL is generally overdone by most people and usually detracts from the overall affect in my opinion. Yours is perfect.

Damn these are just getting better and better. I like the Narrator a bit better for the sculpt, but Alaric is technically superior in execution.

Wonderful painting! Verdigris plus magenta light give a unique result, I love this color scheme. And I keep this idea for the future, thanks :)

Thank you. I think any combination of magenta and a blueish green or blue in general looks excellent.

I love the lighting effect on this miniature - amazing work. The verdigris has turned out nicely as well.

Thank you. Always a challenge to attempt OSL, but I try to push myself with each new miniature.

Much obliged. I agree. I prefer it subtle and a tad more naturalistic.

I just recently came back to painting after about a year not doing much (young kids), so the Narrator was my comeback. I think I am getting the hang again. I think the Death Knight has an odd pose, but it works as being awakened after a long slumber.

Here is a group shot. Three more to go and the Gathering is complete.

I love verdigris and try to feature it as often as possible.

Thank you. Yes, the next three will be a some of the more mundane Black Scorpion miniatures skeletal warriors. Excellent models. I do have more skeletons in the pipeline, but those would then be an addition to the Gathering or to show weapon swaps.

Really splendid work.  The effects are nice and subtle on these characters.  They also have a cool vibe.

I got side tracked and took some pictures of an old 'Cloaker' miniature by Reaper, which they call the 'Cloak Fiend', sculpted by Bob Olley. Cyan and magenta are just very pleasing to the eye. I was inspired by Manta Rays and added some darker spots to give him a more organic look. I used mostly Kimera colours. They sure help with vibrancy due to being single pigment colours.

This thing is weird enough to join my Gathering, but the colour scheme doesn't necessarily match my skellies. So it may just be a diversion for now.

Fantastic! I love the colour choices, the whole thing looks very suitably alien and ethereal… thanks for sharing! :)

Awesome colours, I really like the glossy finish in the mouth and eyes too.

Simple sculpt, but painted very well without overdoing it.

I really like that. Fantastic Jon on the face and mouth, particularly.
