I recently saw some of the new Avanpost 28mm Streltsy and Cossacks for the conquest of Siberia in the late 16th century on Facebook.
I have attempted to order the figures online but there doesn't seem to be the option to enter a UK shipping address.
Also there doesn't seem to be any way for me to contact Avanpost and try and order the figures directly.
Does anyone have any information or advice about ordering these figures for delivery to the UK?

Avanpost is based in the Crimea. You used to be able to either order the figures direct from Oleg there or order them from Mezzer's Miniatures in the UK, but since the war in Ukraine the first of these has not been possible and Mezzer's stocks have run down. There is an outfit called IL Miniatures which I believe is based in Germany and at one stage they seemed to have stocks of Avanpost figures, but I don't know whether that is still the case.

Andy: having spent just a couple of minutes looking into it, it seems that IL Miniatures can supply Avanpost figures in resin, but not in metal. The Conquest of Siberia figures are up on their website.

A while ago I thought about buying some figures from another German supplier, Piano Miniatures. I didn't go ahead because Piano said that due to current Brexit regulations (presumably German ones) , they could only supply orders of more than £135 (excluding shipping costs) to the UK, and my order would have been much smaller. I hope you don't meet the same problem. I have not checked IL's terms and conditions.

Paul, it's the IL minis website I've tried to order the figures from,but on the online address form there's a drop-down menu for the country you need the order sending to,but, unfortunately,the UK isn't there.
Sorry to hear about your experience with Piano Minis re Brexit ,their figures are absolutely superb.
I've ordered from Mezzers Minis in the past,and had great service,but as you say,they seem to have issues with getting stock in.
Hopefully,the figures will become available from a UK stockist before too long.

Andy: to be honest, I doubt whether UK stockists will be getting figures from Avanpost until the war in the Ukraine comes to an end.

It just seems strange that the IL Miniatures online store doesn't have an option to ship to a UK address

Have you tried their contact page. I got a reply (after 10 Days) the range is available as pre- order. I let them know what I wanted and pre - ordered some of the groups.

Have you received your order? A friend (US based) has been waiting several months for a TYW order from IL.

I' can't find contact details on the IL Miniatures website,so I've emailed Avanpost direct.
Hopefully they'll reply with a solution

I can see Brexit is the same problem for us, EU wargamers as for you, UK ones, now that there are so many good ranges of figures in Europe. What a mess...

The non-availability in this case likely is more a case of RU related indiscretions.

Managed to find contact details for IL Miniatures,so hopefully I'll get a reply in the next few days,and be able to order some of these amazing figures.
Then I just have to think about finding some suitable opponents for them.
