Please let us know how you get on. I'd like a few TYW figures myself, but I have assumed that they wouldn't be available until after the end of hostilities in the Ukraine.

No worries.
I was thinking the same thing myself

Same issue with the Cossack sculpts posted elsewhere in this form.  Very nice, but likely not available for the foreseeable future.

Received an email from IL Minis today asking for my "wishlist".
I emailed them back with the details and I await developments

Not received any updates from IL Minis yet. I guess the situation in Crimea makes ordering figures from there very difficult. Hopefully I'll hear something soon.
Does anyone know of any books on Yermak's expedition into Siberia? I'm very interested to know what the indigenous population lived in,were there wooden buildings;with stockades etc,or would they have lived in yurts similar to The Mongols?
Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy

Avanpost are showing some superb looking cavalry from this range on their Facebook page.

Hi,
I know I've just been chatting to Oleg from Avanpost on FB.
The figures look amazing.
I've just emailed IL Miniatures to add the cavalry to my wishlist.

DHL Zonen
Zone 1 – EU: Autriche, Belgique, Danemark, France, Luxembourg, Monaco, Pays-Bas, Pologne, République tchèque
Zone 1 – non EU: Liechtenstein, Suisse
Zone 2 – EU: Italie, Suède, Slovaquie, Slovénie, Espagne, Hongrie
Zone 2 – non EU: Grande Bretagne
Zone 3 – EU: Bulgarie, Estonie, Finlande, Grèce, Irlande, Croatie, Lettonie, Lituanie, Malte, Portugal, Roumanie, Chypre

Merci

My French is not great but from what you say . You have had no problem ordering from Il Miniatures but  that it takes a long time (some months) for the figures to arrive given their location(Crimea).

Koroni, thanks very much for the info on the book,I'll Google it and see what turns up.
Gentilhomme, thank you for the shipping info, and Von Stroheim thank you for the translation.
I guess I'll just have to be patient regards the figures, and wait until Ilya is in a position to order more and ship them to the UK.

For Mr. Von Stroheim and Armstrong Yes, that's exactly it.
Yes, the delays will be quite long before receiving your figurines .

Given the situation in that part of the world, delays are understandable
The figures are absolutely superb, and will fill a gap in my gaming that's been there for over 30 years, when I first read about Yermak's journey into Siberia in Philip Longworthy's "The Cossacks".

Just received an email from Ilya at IL Miniatures, and a link to buy the Streltsy and foot Cossacks via eBay.
With shipping to the UK,the cost is just over £60.
I'm awaiting news of the availability of the Siberian Cavalry.
