As promised...

The Ogres made their 10mm debut in the Soldier Shack.

A big block of Yhetees was rather imposing

And they fell upon the warriors with gleeful abandon

Cool - thanks for writing that up. I like the Timelapse on the video, but less so the summary bits that just seemed to slow the video down (I was watching without sound).

Ogres vs Chaos feels like the total charge and smash game!

Those look like the Blackgate figures, I’ve got an army of them, and really like them as figures - glad they are expensive in points as they are expensive in £s too!

I should probably work out how to do subtitles on the summary bits, for access reasons (and for people who choose to watch without sound). You can switch them on in YT (though sometimes they're a bit iffy!). I did post a version without the summaries direct to the Warmaster Fb group but I think most people want the explanation of what's going on.

Yes, they're the BlackGate ones - they're nice and I'd like an army of them at some point - but have quite a lot of original GW metal armies I should get finished first!

Another video of another game

A proper report will follow, but I've got another non-video game to post about as well!

And indeed I have now blogged the Dark Elf v. Chaos game...

The Tzeentch forces had a dragon with them.

And were soon smashing in the centre of the Dark Elf line

The knights were held in reserve in case of hydra attack

Words and pictures as always over on the blog:

Alan's Daemons materialised in the Soldier Shack

They were soon going toe to...whatever Nurgle Daemons have where their toes should be with the forces of Chaos

Gradually they began to overwhelm their erstwhile allies

Reintroducing a lapsed player to Warmaster Revolution.

Matt bought over his old school metal Chaos army and so I met him with my similar vintage Empire force

Soon units, monsters and heroes had clashed

The Empire found the Chaos forces a tough nut to crack

Another short video of a recent game.
Can the followers of Tzeentch turn back a Dark Elf punitive raid?

I've blogged the above game now too

The hordes of Tzentch assembled to repulse Malekith's invaders

Soon the Chaos Knights were showing Cold Ones who's boss

However the Witch King was also taking the fight to the Chaos forces

With the help of regular Warmaster opponent chums Andy and Alan we revived the Warmaster Winter Warmer Tournament for the first time since 2009.

My fist game had me drawn against a Lizardman army

I did what every good Chaos general should do - and chaaaaaarged!

However the cold blooded foe were reluctant to come out and fight

My inital attacks blunted the Lizards hit back

Another game in the Soldier Shack.
My Daemons taking on Andy's Dark Elves

The Daemon Legions were of a mind to make life difficult for Malekith

Dog fought Dark Rider as the plains ran red with blood

Could the Witch King vanquish his foes?

Second battle from the Winter Warmer Tournament

The Chaos horde deployed

And marched to occupy the Elven fields

Soon the general found himself embroiled in combat

Would the followers of Tzeentch prevail?
