Hi all,
Yes, I've been granted access and have sorted at least a temporary fix.
I'm mid email to the team to explain it all but apologies to anyone who may have received some really
old notifications while I was testing. The backlog was...large

I have cleared it down to only the last week, forgive me for the lost notifications but spamming everyone with months worth is not a good idea.
I'm continuing to look into it for a little longer as it's not reducing the queue quite as quickly as I would expect - but it might just be coincidentally new notifications popping in at the same rate...
Edit: it doesn't seem to be in a hurry to reduce but yep, me posting to this thread triggered a set of notifications which increased the queue again

I need to get to bed soon, long story short it looks like SMTP details are wrong and/or there's a different SMTP issue, but I can't see the logs. However, the server itself does send so that's how it's working currently. Long term that would normally result in emails landing in spam but a quick check of the email headers suggests the server is actually sending via proxy, and that proxy is signing emails correctly, so I think we may actually be sorted!
