This is a superb project!  Great idea and fantastically executed!

Are you basing any buildings on actual ones or using gamers licence?  One thing about Venice that stuck in my mind was all the slightly leaning spires / towers.   Will you be adding a leaning tower?

Thanks. Just gamers licence, I wanted to get some bright colours in there. I will definitely consider a leaning tower, cheers.

You are always welcome in Deepest Devon. I have to admit, I have been enjoying all your other projects.

First figure completed for Carnevale. A Gondolier armed with a bladed oar.

All the streets are now assembled, just need painting now!

I believe painting of the streets is continuing apace at this very moment. And the gondolier is a very capable looking fellow. The bladed oar should be very effective.

I suddenly remember 5th season with 11th Doctor - Vampires of Venice . That was a really funny little story. Fish Queen from outer space in disguise drains maidens and gives them her own blood to transform them into more female fishes to mate with the males who live in the canals…  lol lol

I've just gone back to the begining and enjoyed your progress so far, it's really coming together well. The overall style looks great and ties it all together as a homogenous whole. If that's a possibility. ;)
Cheers
