I am trying to capture the gloomy feel of City Life in a smog-filled city where the like of Jack the Ripper or worse stalk the dark streets.

You are nailing it my friend.

That looks better than some tv and movie sets… It was pretty amazing without the lighting, but that pushes the envelope!

Thank you.

Thank you.   The lights create some really nice shadows.

I made some simple trees up this week. Just twisted wire and milliput with clump foliage stuck on top.

I then thought I would see how it looks with the main light turned off and this is the result.

Very atmospheric. I believe I can just see Mr. Holmes behind that building on the right.
Now you need a fog machine...

Thank you.  Won't be long before the two Aphids you built for me will be patrolling the skies near the aeronef station.

Fantastic terrain and beautiful photography ;)

Thank you, its just taken on my old iphone.   It's one of the older model phones and I'm quite happy with how the images came out.

Funny you should mention that, I've been eyeing up a mini fog machine with an adaptor to make the fog wide and low.   Just trying to figure out where to install it, at the moment I'm leaning towards the sunken road section.

Definitely having George Takai's voiced 'Oh, my' in my head...

I would have a bit of concern about fog machines, though I have little experience. Always worried about fog deposition staining the scenery.

Edit: There's another voice, mind you, yelling "That would be so kewl!"

I finally got around to finishing off the nef station and am pretty happy with the results

I also made up some piles of rubbish to scatter around the place.
Next up I have a Vampire style carriage that I want to install lights into and after that some more lights to the buildings, including a blue light outside the police station maybe.

Appears that I have the privilege of being the first to gush about the new piccies.

Sadly, that's difficult when one is left speechless.
