Finished detailing the interior.  Added a small desk, shelf and some other items.  I have cut the floor but not scribed in lines for the floorboards yet so I did not add it in for the photos.
First a view of the new interior elements from above.

A quick view through the door.

I have also managed to fit the mounting for the abdomen to the thorax.

That's quite a beastie. I must admit I don't envy you painting all that interior detail.

That's downright awesome, that is!  :-*

But if he ever takes home a date, that thing might tilt over onto its tail  lol

I love all the details you've crammed in; I'd probably would have done the same; onve you pop, you just can't stop, right? Seriously though; how prone is the transport to topple backwards?
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Thank you all for the nice comments.
I must admit I don't envy you painting all that interior detail.
It is easier than it looks as I have a set system and color palette in place for painting details.
Seriously though; how prone is the transport to topple backwards?
Funny enough at the moment it is not.  It is a combination of the weight of the legs and plastic parts in the front two sections and the forward leaning stance.  We shall see if it holds up once a roof and details are added.  Worst case scenario, I will find some place to fit ballast on.   lol

This is going to be amazing, weird, and cool all at the same time. I can't wait to see how it will finish out!  :o :-*

This might be my favourite project at this stage of the BSC. It's excellently weird, a fantastic use of the commercial leg bits, and I can't wait to see what the next round of building brings us!

Just another update.
I had some ho scale photo etched fencing left over from another project that works nicely to make a cage.  This was set on the side of the abdomen.  The bottom of the cage comes off so it can be painted and some more details added.  A plaster cast crate was also added on.

A hirst arts barrel was added onto the side with a small mount and another plaster cast crate.

Some resin and plaster cast sacks were added onto the top of the thorax.

Two overview shots.  I had to use blue tack as the parts are too heavy to stay attached by friction alone.

Hope you like.

More a piece of art than a scratchbuild; I love it.

I love it but also find the idea of a vehicle that moves like a spider to be a bit creepy. ;D

Amazing build  :-*
