Real life has been getting in the way of hobby time.  Tonight I had some time to do a bit of work.
The abdomen looked a bit off hanging out in space.  I decided to mount a unicycle wheel underneath it on a swivel and I added some steps leading up to the interior.
I am hoping that I will be able to get some more time in this week to finish up the roof on the abdomen and add some more exterior details.  It may not sound like much but with how work has been the last two weeks, I am not sure how much time I can spend on it.

Hang in there; the final days in these competitions are always the hardest!

Your build is just awesome and crazily unique; it's truly weird and fits the setting perfectly  8)

Here's to hoping you will be able to finish in time!  :)

The unicycle wheel gives it a dash of whimsy and certainly fixes that "hanging out there" vibe. Loving this, and also hoping it gets done in time. Such a unique build...!

Thank you all for the nice words.  I managed to get more done this weekend so I may have the primed final build photographed by this weekend.
The unicycle wheel gives it a dash of whimsy and certainly fixes that "hanging out there" vibe.
I had to wrack my brain a bit to work out a solution as it did not look balanced and it was way too late to work on a smaller version.

It's got a certain Myazaki vibe and the unicycle wagon wheel just reinforces that. Might result in spilled ink in the wizard's study, though!

Really enjoying seeing this come together, can't wait to see the interior all painted up.

I do mate, it is very characterful. Oddly I get a bit of a canal barge vibe from it.
